News from the front - Aurora, IL

Monday, August 27th, 2007

The folks in Aurora, IL are jumping the gun a little bit. Rather than being part of the National 40 Days for Life campaign their situation requires more immediate attention.

Planned Parenthood covertly constructed one of the largest abortion facilities in the country under an alias. State officials, contractors and residents where all led to believe the facility would be a quiet medical clinic devoted to healing people. Needless to say there has been an uproar since the actual purpose of the facility became public knowledge.

They are currently in their second week of a 40 Days for Life campaign and this last weekend they held a rally attended by over 1000 people. There’s a flurry of activity around this new clinic and it doesn’t look like the Aurora community is going to take this one sitting down. Here’s a video assembled documenting the rally.

Keep the Aurora community in your prayers as they lead the charge.

Coming soon to Seattle

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

This fall we’ll be having a 40 Days for Life campaign here in Seattle as a part of the National Campaign, beginning September 26 until November 4th.  For more detailed information on what this means, checkout the About Seattle 40 Days page.

This blog will focus on our local efforts as well as providing important / exciting information about the national campaign as things develop.  We hope you will join us in prayer, fasting and vigil this fall.  We also hope some of you will listen to the call to join us in preparation and organization.

Especially as we prepare, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
